Stop that right Meow
As long as there have been inventions there have been high-quality ideas that make a lot of money such as the phone, television, electricity, etc. etc. etc. Unfortunately there have also been a lot of dim-witted ideas that have grossed exurbanite amounts of money as well. Products such as the pet rock only succeed due to one reason, the idiots that buy them. At least pet rocks were cheap, this invention I am about to speak of is set to cost around Eighty dollars. I already know that this product is going to make a countless amount of greenbacks. The product is a translation device. Does it translate your speaking into a different language, which would in turn break down the language barrier in the entire world? No of course not that would be useful. This translates your feline's meows into human language. They are also currently making the same product for dogs. The name of the product for cats is called Meowlingual and the one for dogs is called Bowlingual. Unfortunately I am not making this up this is really happening folks. Do they really think that the public is so stupid that they think that they can translate animal's noises into real words? I would almost bet anything that every animal lover out there is dumb enough to buy into this. I am pretty curious as to how detailed the product actually goes into the animals and their speaking. Do they speak in full sentences or is it just single words that express feeling such as "hungry". Did the programmers of this product only program positive things or did they put in negative things as well. Will a cat be able to portray real feelings such as "screw you buddy get me out of this darn cage". Or will Sergeant Scruffy's woof woof woof be translated into "If you don't take me for a walk I'm going to leave a present on the rug", I highly doubt it. How would research be done for such an invention. Is there a cat out there that has learned English and is translating for them? I think that would be the only reasonable explanation. What kind of person works on something like this? Are they mad scientists, animal lovers, or just some creepy fat guy? I hope it's not the latter because there are already enough rich creepy fat guys and we really don't need another one. I'd really like to hear some other peoples thoughts on this invention drop me a line at ms1730@ship.edu or IM me at Mstanford01.
